About the Band

The Rockwell Collins Band has performed since 1982 at venues within the Rockwell facility and around the community. The membership is made up of employees, spouses, dependents, and retirees of Rockwell Collins. The Band is a concert band, and plays a wide variety of music: marches, show tunes, big band swing, polkas, and popular favorites.

The Rockwell Collins Band is sponsored through Employee Services, and receives financial support from the company to purchase new music and supplies. Additionally, the band members pay $5 dues each year as a way to offset incidental expenses.

Would you like to play?

The Band provides an opportunity for employees, retirees and spouses, and dependents to enjoy their musical talents. The Band is always open to anyone who would like to join. We rehearse each Monday night from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Iowa State Training Room (Building 154), which is next to the Rockwell Collins Rec Center. Bring your instrument and a music stand and have fun!

For more information about the Rockwell Band or playing in the band, e-mail Jim Jezek.
